Don Harrelson

Pastor Don Harrelson grew up in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and attended local public schools.

Pastor Don accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 13. He was later baptized.

Upon his graduation from Glen Burnie Senior High School in 1988, he attended Bob Jones University, graduating with a degree in print journalism in 1992. After surrendering to the call to preach, he returned to Bob Jones University where he graduated in 1998 with a Master’s of Divinity degree.

Pastor Don returned to the Baltimore area where he taught high school and college level Bible classes at Arlington Baptist School and Arlington Bible College. He was ordained in 1999 by Arlington Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland.

In 2003, Pastor Don married Marjorie shortly after accepting a position as Senior Pastor in Oregon. The couple moved to Western Maryland in 2008 where Pastor Don served as pastor for more than 13 years.

In January 2022, Pastor Don became Pastor at Lighthouse.
